- 0–1: AI can't do this at all (customer research calls, deep strategy)
- 3: AI can do a decent first draft with human editing
- 5: AI produces publish-ready output instantly (basic product descriptions)
Dimension 2: Substitution Threat
Would your client notice — or care — if AI did this instead of you? Rate 0–5.
- 0–1: Client would immediately notice and be unhappy
- 3: Client might notice but might not care if quality is similar
- 5: Client couldn't tell the difference and would switch tomorrow
Dimension 3: Client Price Sensitivity
Is this service something clients actively shop on price? Rate 0–5.
- 0–1: Clients pay premium rates without question
- 3: Some negotiation but quality matters more
- 5: Clients will switch for $0.01/word less
Your Vulnerability Score
Multiply the three scores: A × S × P = Your Vulnerability Score
- 0–20: 🟢 Safe — AI can't touch this. Charge more.
- 21–50: 🟡 Monitor — AI is improving, but you have time.
- 51–80: 🟠 At Risk — Start repositioning within 6 months.
- 81–125: 🔴 Critical — This service won't exist in 18 months.
